Seven senior citizens were honoured by the Lions Club for giving years of service in their field and for making contributions to and uplifting their communities during their retirement.

Congratulations to Mrs. June Pringle. I remember when she opened Gods School in Sandy Bank. My sister (Merline) and I were two of the first teachers there. It is good to see her recognized for all her good work in our community.
