That sure is a beautiful picture of the rainbow. But it cannot be compared to the large icicles covering every single branch that is hanging from the frosty trees, that have been sleeping since the beginning of fall.
When the sun shines, it is the most beautiful thing that you will ever see, its like diamonds on the trees while the ground is covered with a
blanket of winter white snow as far as the eyes can see. Simple amazing.....adding to its beauty at night is when all the outdoor lights are shining directly down on everything....just breathless.

Ah, yes, I do remember the beauty of the ice storms. They are very dangerous storms but absolutely beautiful!

While ice storms are pretty in the aftermath, the 4-7 days of power outages are not so nice! 2 wks prior I was basking in the glory of the Treasure Beach sun!
